Not every affiliate appreciated teletext...

As discussed in a section in the Archiving Teletext page, not every broadcast affiliate is alike. Unfortunately, this meant that there were some affiliates that altered their VBI; in this case, CBS's ExtraVision and NBC's NBC Teletext services were either partially passed through the VBI or completely omitted from the VBI. While you can get some results from decoding partial a teletext stream (though not the entire data), most (or all) of the pages will be corrupted.

Below is a list of broadcast affiliates that altered their VBI, which affected the teletext stream.
